SFFMuse is back up

And we're back on the air. :)

To recap what happened: first, the account was suspended because the annual domain registration fee was due, and both kitten and Robert were having busy offline lives.

Then, while it was suspended, the server got hacked. Not just SFFMuse, but everything at feathsweb, and probably farther afield.

So when I paid the fee to get the domain un-suspended, the site indexes were screwy. Neither kitten nor Robert had backups, and the only one anyone knew about was with Starweaver Blue, who hadn't really been involved much with SFFMuse for a really long time.

I dug up Starweaver Blue's IM from his LJ account and pestered him. :) He sent me a zip file with the last backup he had, which was from 2004. I passed the zip file to alcar, who tried to pass it to kitten, but she was still busy with offline living and didn't have time. She gave alcar the FTP access info to the server.

Alcar and analog then poked at it until they figured out how to put the site back together again. It involved copying over a number of template files from the backup, but it took a while to figure out which ones and where.

And VOILA! :D
