12,863 words and at the beginning of Chapter 10 now. That's 47 more words than Robert's current wordcount. I get to have more words than him!

On the other hand, it's because he had stopped writing for two days to finish up some commission artwork (which incidentally turned out very well). Tomorrow morning when he starts up again, he'll run me over almost instantly. So my triumph will be brief. ;) Even so, this has been a very good writing day with almost 4k new words at the stroke of midnight (wordcount at that point was 12,164) - and I'm not done yet. Going to see about finishing Chapter 10 before I call it a night.
